The mission of Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center is to unlock creativity through exceptional visual arts education and to enhance this endeavor through the preservation of the historic Kaluanui Estate. Founded in 1934 and designated a 501(c)3 in 1967, Hui No‘eau is the primary community visual arts center in Maui County that provides visual arts classes, arts outreach programs for underserved youth, fine art exhibitions for emerging and professional artists, community art events, open studios, Native Hawaiian cultural art, and more.
Hui Holidays 2024 offers a unique opportunity to shop local from November 22 to December 24, with hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The Hui No‘eau gift shop expands this season, featuring a curated selection of Maui-made ceramics, textiles, jewelry, children’s gifts, home goods, bath and body products, holiday ornaments, and more. This collection highlights the craftsmanship of Maui’s talented artists and vendors, with every purchase directly supporting the local artistic community and Hui No‘eau’s mission to foster creativity and craftsmanship.
