Haku Baldwin Center provides equine-assisted education, mental health, and adaptive sport services at our 33-acre facility in Makawao. We empower and educate individuals of all ages: children and adults with physical, cognitive and social-emotional disabilities, at-risk youth, and military veterans, providing free and affordable care through Adaptive Horseback Riding, Equine-Assisted Learning (life skills, job skills, personal development), Horse Powered Reading® literacy intervention, Equine-Assisted Mental Health Sessions, and Field Trips for public schools and homeschool groups. Our programs are funded by community support.
